Welcome to Sarah's Yoga Studio!

In our fast paced modern world many of us have become disconnected from our soul!
Is your body tired and full of aches and pains? Is your mind over-stimulated?

With the practice of Yoga it is possible to learn to control the mind, the body, and to align with the intention of your soul.
It is time to switch off from the constant demands of our lives. The feeling that time is running out can be placed aside, as you fill your own cup.

Wednesday: Light Lunch Flow 11.30am-12.30pm

Wednesday: Chair Yoga 2pm-3pm

Friday: Yin Yoga 5.15pm-6.15pm

Friday: Nidra/Restorative 6.30pm-7.30pm

More about Sarah and her offerings:

All studio sessions are held at the King of Wands Wellness center located in Fort Macleod. As Sarah travels from out of town and there are limited spaces, it is recommended that you pre-book to secure your spot.

Chair Yoga
This is a supported way to access Yoga. It is ideal for those who are less mobile. This can include, and yet is not limited to; elderly, people suffering chronic illness, people recovering from an injury or surgery, and pregnant women

Light Lunch Flow
A combination of Vinyasa and Yin Yoga balancing the body’s energies. Completed with a gentle meditation. Accessible to all levels of Yoga. Gentle easy flow to energize your day.

Yin Yoga
A gentle flow that is done using poses seated and laying down. Holding each from 1-5 minutes creating the release of tension in the body. Ends with Yoga Nidra..

Restorative/Nidra Yoga
With the support of bolsters, blocks, and blankets you will be guided through three restorative poses to completely calm the nervous system. We gently move into 30 minutes of Yoga Nidra. 
Note: these two sessions together will leave you feeling like a new person at the end of your week!

Meditative Journaling: Connect with your inner self. Through guided journaling, you'll explore your intentions, dreams, and aspirations. It's a moment to reflect, set goals, and manifest your best self.

Breath: Unleash the power of your breath. Feel the stress melt away as you cultivate a profound sense of inner peace.

Gentle Flow: Gently move through a series of yoga postures that awaken your body, increase flexibility, and improve circulation. This slow-paced flow is suitable for all levels, ensuring a comfortable and nurturing experience.

Elevate your Thursday mornings and embark on a journey of self-discovery, inner strength, and vitality. Our 'Morning Slow Flow' class is the perfect way to cultivate mindfulness, energize your body, and create a harmonious start to your day.

Yin / Yang

Dive into your practice with a dynamic and invigorating Yang sequence that will fire up your energy. Feel the strength and vitality coursing through your body as you flow through a series of active, empowering poses. Your Yang practice will awaken every muscle, leaving you feeling rejuvenated and ready to conquer any challenge life throws your way.

Transition seamlessly into the Yin portion of our class, where you'll embark on a journey of deep release and tranquility. Yin yoga is all about surrendering to stillness, as you sink into long-held, passive poses that gently stretch and open your body. As the physical tension melts away, your mind will find calm, and you'll experience a sense of profound relaxation.

This class is designed to strike the perfect equilibrium between strength and surrender. You'll leave feeling both invigorated and peaceful, with a body that's more flexible and a mind that's serene and centered.

As the class concludes, you'll find yourself in a state of deep inner quietude, with newfound flexibility and a sense of inner harmony. It's the ideal way to wrap up your day and prepare for a peaceful night's rest.
